Baseball Postponed
The Harrier baseball game this evening (Thursday, April 30th) versus Miami Middletown has been postponed due to rain. It has been rescheduled for Friday at Foundation Field at 6pm.

Miami Hamilton got just enough runs across the plate Tuesday night to defeat the Cougars from UC Clermont 16-13. MUH was led at the plate by Bryan Apking who went 4 for 4 and scored 4 runs and David Giese also scored 4 runs while going 3 for 6.
The Harriers return to action Thursday night for their final ORCC contest versus Miami Middletown. Currently the men sit at 10-1 in the conference and 24-14 overall.
The Harriers traveled to OU Chillicothe on Saturday and beat up the Hilltoppers 17-2 and 17-0 in a doubleheader. They were led at the plate by Bryan Apking and Steve Adams. On Sunday MUH split with Rio Grande in a doubleheader losing the first 8-3, but winning the second 10-0. Joe Sullivan belted a home run and David Giese had four hits on the day.
MUH now stands at 22-14 overall, 9-1 in the conference and has a couple big conference battles this week at home versus UC Clermont Tuesday night and Miami Middletown Thursday night.
The Harriers were downed by a strong Midway team on Friday 8-1. The lone winners for MUH were Lauren Barker and Mandi Cardosi at #2 doubles. Both the men and women will compete this weekend at the ORCC tournament in Chillicothe.
The Miami Hamilton softball team took a couple games on the chin against OSU Newark this past Saturday losing 10-0 and 10-1. However the Harriers turned things around on Sunday by beating the Miami Middletown squad 21-1 and 11-3. Megan Batt threw a no hitter in the first game and went 2 for 4 at the plate. Sarah Pressler led the way in the second game with 2 hits and 3 runs scored. The squad is currently 4-6 on the season.
The Miami Hamilton golf team enjoys a solid weekend by coming in 4th place at the OSU Newark invitational on Friday and following that with a respectable 5th place finish at Zanesville on Saturday. Adam Mitchell fired a 77 at Newark while Aaron Akeley led the way with a 76 at Zanesville.
The Harriers were a bit outmanned against Thomas More last week, falling by a score of 7-2.
The winners for MUH were Matt Hoffmann at first singles: 5-7, 7-5, 10-8 and the team of Andy Pickering/Jeremy Hiler at second doubles: 9-8.
The women travel to Midway on Friday, April 24, while the men will head north to battle with Miami Middletown on Saturday, April 25.
The Miami Hamilton softball team braved the weather Sunday at Ohio University Chillicothe, but the Hilltoppers were too much for the Harriers.
In the first game of the doubleheader MUH was nipped 6-5 and in the second game the OU Chillicothe came out with an 8-0 win. The Harriers were led offensively by Megan Batt who totalled 3 hits on the day to go along with one run batted in.
The squad is currently 2-4 on the season.

Cooper French came up big Friday with a 73 to earn the Harriers their first invitational win of the season.
The Harriers put on quite a display Saturday at Foundation Field beating Southern St. Community College 10-0 in the first game behind a complete game no hitter from Kevin Collett and following that with a 15-2 drubbing in the second game. Matt Mays led the offensive onslaught in the second game with 2 home runs and 6 runs batted in.
